Startup 2017 in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Federal Employment Service in Bosnia and Herzegovina on 8th of May 2017. announced second call for applications for the STARTUP 2017 program.

 In accordance with the Financial Plan for 2017 and estimations for 2018 and 2019 Federal Employment Service provided 3,000,000 BAM for running the STARTUP program. This program will be implemented in cooperation with cantonal Employment Offices.

The program aim is to encourage at least 800 persons from the employment evidence in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on self-employment through supporting their independent activity / small business. This program, beside the self-employment activities also supports development of the social entrepreneurship

Target group / users are persons registered as unemployed in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina at least six (6) months prior to submitting the application, regardless of level of education and age, and those who willl run the business at least 12 month after grant approval.

The Federal Employment Service will transfer 300.00 KM per month for men and 330,00 KM for women for the next 12 months to those who sign contract with them and start participation in the STARTUPprogram.
